OUR LOVE OF LAND & GRAPE

When we bought this land, we had no idea what was in store for us. As with many in the region, our journey to get here was not straightforward. Sure, we knew we wanted a vineyard that we could raise our family on, but to find a site like this was completely unexpected. We started our search in several years ago, looking at properties across the Willamette Valley. After our first visit to the estate, we knew this was where we belonged. However, at the time, we had absolutely no idea just how deeply we would fall in love with the vineyard.

Caring for the land and producing grapes of the highest quality fills us with a sense of pride and purpose. As we watch our twin boys run wild through the vines, we now know our place in this world. Family-owned and operated since its inception in 1995, Gemini Vineyards is based on a foundation of family, hard work and love, and we are proud to carry on these traditions.

This estate vineyard is located in the northeast reaches of the Chehalem Mountains AVA at 500 feet of elevation on Laurelwood Soils.

The original site was planted in 1995 and was slowly expanded to fulfill our mission of supplying superior wine grapes to our acclaimed winery partners, while also creating small batch bottlings that we aim to reflect the truest expression of estates terroir and the season it was grown in. Today, the site comprises of a variety of plantings such as several clones of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as Pinot Gris and Gamay Noir.

Our goal is to produce exceptional fruit that reflects the land and the season to form the best foundation to develop exceptional wine. Our values of sustainability, partnering, and family ensures our focus is on this goal with every vintage.
