OUR LIFE'S WORK

Since the estate’s inception in 1995, with its first planting of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, the estate has been known as Gemini Vineyards. We saw this fortuitous as we have been blessed with twins ourselves. The estate was further expanded in 2014 and 2015 with plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. A third phase of expansion of additional clones of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay happened in 2018 and 2019.

With a key focus on sustainability, our grapes are grown with minimal intervention, the majority of which is by hand. The site has been live-certified for over a decade, and we aim to go above and beyond the requirements of the certification.

The total estate is made up of 26 total acres, 16 of which are under vine with a major part of the estate set aside as environmentally sensitive areas left untouched to allow native flora and fauna to flourish. These areas, coupled with several acres of open pasture, ensure the estate is connected to the natural environment.

Management of the vineyard is a team approach between our family and our Vineyard Manager, Victor. Victor’s 20 years of expertise, seven years spent working this estate, his energy, and practical approach all ensure the fruit is of the highest quality every vintage.
